 Aquafair 2008 - Betta Competition  Date: 20 -23 November 2008 Venue: KLCC Convention Centre Entrance fees: Adult RM 10.00/Children RM 5.00 Special ActivitiesOrnamental Fish competition Tech & Trade Seminar http://www.aquafairmalaysia.com/Details of the Betta Competition is being finalised and will be announced in due time. Please check in often for updates. To those who plan on entering the competition better spawn by this week. Else it might just be too late. Don't say we didn't warn you.
Update 1: Benching in will be on 19 November 3 pm onwards till 8 pm. Benching out will be 23 November, 3 pm onwards till 7 pm.
For now the entry price is RM25 per fish for non-IBC, non-BSM members and RM10 per fish for BSM members. Forum members do not count towards society members. IBC members pay rm20 per fish entry.
So, here is the summary:
BSM member: RM10 per fish
IBC member:RM20 per fish
Non-bsm, non-ibc: RM25
Update 2: We're finalizing the class and entry form design. Form should be up within these few days.

Division A: Halfmoon
A1 Red STM HM (dark and light bodied red)
A2 Black STM HM (superblack, melano, black lace etc)
A3 Darkbody Iridescence STM HM (blue, steel, green or turquoise, should not be metallic carrier)
A4 Clear/Yellow/Orange STM HM (cellophane, yellow, orange)
A5 Pastel/Opaque STM HM (pastel and White)
A6 Bicolor/Butterfly STM HM (pattern, triband, salamander etc)
A7 Marble/Grizzled/Multicolor STM HM (any marble, moster marble etc)
A8 Metallic Light-bodied STM HM (platinum, gold etc)
A9 Metallic Dark-bodied STM HM (all masked irid fish e.g copper masked, green masked etc)

Re: Aquafair 2008 - Betta Competition Judged by the previous Aquafair event I attended, this is a 5-star international event for Malaysia. Rushing for the new spawns already, but the new parents (males) are a little bit too young to fertize the eggs - sperms are not "kau" (strong) yet.  ... Will try to reload soon.

AQUAFAIR 2008 BETTA SOCIETY MALAYSIA COMPETITION AND DISPLAY BSM is proud to announce its much awaited competition, which will be held in conjunction with the
Aquafair 2008. The event will be held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center and will span four days- 19 to 23 November.
